Welcome to Kalwa Springers!  We are small-scale breeders and exhibitors of English Springer Spaniels.  At Kalwa, our motto is excellence in conformation, competition and companionship.  Please look around to meet the Kalwa Springers, view some fun pictures, and learn about us, our activities, and English Springer Spaniels in general. 

Big News:  After a little over a year in Utah, we have once again relocated, this time to Ventura, California (as of August 2008).  We continue to have close ties to Utah, will make frequent visits, and some of the Kalwa dogs will still be residing there.  So, if you are in Utah or surrounding states and are interested in a Springer, let us know.  We are excited about the pleasant climate, lots of shows, and a large community of other Springer breeders in California, though. 

If you are looking to add an ESS to your life, please be sure to visit the Puppies section of this site for lots of valuable information on finding a breeder, choosing a puppy or an adult dog, and deciding if a Springer is the right dog for you.  This page also offers details about current and planned litters here at Kalwa.  We currently have puppies born August 20, and may still have pups available from this litter, although probably not for long.  Visit the Planned Parenthood page for info. 

If you would love to share your life with a Springer but aren't prepared for the headaches of raising a puppy, we occasionally have older puppies or adult dogs available.  Visit the Dogs page for more information.
