"Soleil"

Soleil (pictured above at eight weeks and two years) is from the second Kalwa litter, born in June 2005.  She loves people, especially kids, and loves to cuddle with anyone.  She was shown very sparingly in conformation, mostly because more attention was focused on her older sister and younger brother.  She earned her first point in May 2008, and was gearing up for a serious show campaign, but instead took an unexpected break for motherhood, with puppies born on August 20, 2008.  To meet her puppies, visit the Olympic Litter's page. Soleil was the class pet for her "grandma's" class of fourth and fifth graders for two years.  Soleil loved going to school every day and spending time with 26 dog-loving children.  She never got tired of the attention, and was always patient with whatever the kids wanted her to do. 

Soleil was moved around quite a bit between various Kalwa locations, and we finally decided that what Soleil really deserves is a permanent home with a loving family, so we decided to place her in a pet home.  Soleil will soon be on her way to live with the Wagstaff family in Connecticut, and we are sure she will love her new family and they will love her.
