Before Birth and Week One

Harmony was huge during the last part of her pregnancy this time, so we thought she might have quite a few babies.  Turns out we were right, as she whelped eight puppies.  During this first week everyone spent most of their time eating and sleeping.  The babies are all doing fine, although Blossom (the smallest) has been a little slow to start gaining weight and has needed supplemental feedings.  Tails were docked and dewclaws removed when they were four days old, and everyone got their first nail trim the next day.
