Photo coming soon 6/19-6/23/09: Carter finished his AKC championship with a WD/BOW/BOB win under judge Alvin Krause at the Electric City Kennel Club show in Great Falls, MT.  Carter moved up to BOB for the remainder of the circuit and went on to win the breed 3 out of the 4 remaining days, losing one day to his nephew, Tucker.
4/30-5/3/09: After a long absence from the show ring (he was shown only once between the previously listed show and this one), Carter earned four more points at the South Jordan, UT cluster of shows, with WD/BOW/BOB wins three of the four days, and WD/BOS on the last day of the cluster, leaving Carter needing one more point to finish.
Sorry, no photo. 5/17-18/08: At the Mount Ogden Kennel Club shows, on Saturday, Carter was RWD, Best Bred-By, and won a Bred-By group first.  On Sunday, Carter was WD and BOS under judge Terry Stacy for another point bringing his total to 10, with both majors.
Sorry, no photo. 5/10-11/08: On another trip to New Mexico, Carter earned his third Rally Novice leg and his RN title with a score of 88.  On Sunday, he was RWD in a major entry.
Sorry, no photo. 5/3-4/08: Carter earned the first two legs toward his Rally Novice title with scores of 76 and a 4th place ribbon on Saturday and 92 and first place on Sunday.  He was also WD/BOW both days in conformation.
11/4/07: Carter made it back-to-back major wins when judge Dorothy McDonald awarded him Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best Opposite, and Best Bred-By Exhibitor in Breed on the second day of the Sporting Dog Fanciers of New Mexico group show.
11/3/07:  Carter earned his first major at the Sporting Dog Fanciers of New Mexico group show by going Winners Dog, Best of Winners, and Best of Breed under judge Nathaniel Horn.
9/15-16/07:  Carter was Winners Dog and Best Opposite at the Bonneville Basin Kennel Association shows under judge Pat Trotter for his first point.  The next day, he was Winners Dog, Best of Winners, and Best of Breed under judge Hank Williams for another point.
Sorry, no photo. 10/13/06: Carter went to his first National Specialty, where he placed third in a very competitive 6-9 month puppy class under judge Houston Clark.
Sorry, no photo. 7/1/06: His very first time ever in a show ring (or even on a show lead), Carter entered a sanctioned match where he won Best Puppy in Breed, Best Puppy in Group, Best Puppy in Match, and finally, Best Overall in Match at not quite five months old.
